The weekend
The festival runs from Friday October 2 at 5:30 pm through Sunday October 4 at midnight. After parties every night, and complimentary food and refreshments at each venue for performers.
Welcome reception
Bergen Hall, Friday October 2, 5:30–6:30 pm. Pick up schedules and gift bags, meet other performers, filmmakers and staff. Your welcome pack stays there all weekend if you arrive later.
Lodging
Performer rate at Peachtree Suites, Journal Square, $215 per night. Rooms accommodate three and are like little studio apartments, central and close to the PATH. Booking link.
Guest list
You get 2 names per show you are on. Give the name to the door person at check-in. Other guests buy tickets or passes.
Your badge
Gets you into the shows, screenings and events you are not performing on, as long as they still have room. Ticketed attendees are seated first, performers five minutes before the show starts. Your badge is good for you only. Supporting your fellow performers is a big part of this.
Call time
Arrive 20 minutes before your show to check in and sort any tech needs.
Safety
No form of harassment, bullying, or making anyone feel unsafe will be tolerated. If you feel unsafe, contact any volunteer or staff member.
Food
Stocked areas for performing comics with snacks and drinks at your shows. After parties have refreshments too. Restaurant recommendations available on request.
Photo and video
Photographers will be at the shows. Everyone gets access to a shared Google Drive folder to upload and download photos from the weekend.
Travel
Newark Liberty is closest; JFK and LaGuardia work too. NJ Transit for local rail. The Via Jersey City app rides anywhere in Jersey City for about $2.
